Scanning a members QR code (add to tab screen)

This article shows you how to link a purchase to a member by scanning a member QR code on the add to tab screen. If member is ordering and paying at the same time you can scan a member QR code on the PAY screen.

Linking a purchase to a loyalty member will:

• Enable you to apply any promotions the member is eligible for
• Track the purchase against that member for reporting purposes
• Enable you to apply any credit a member has on their account

When adding items to a tab you can link them to a member by scanning a QR code on the 'add to tab' screen.

Press the camera icon at the top of the screen and scan the members QR code (if you don't see a camera icon make sure you have enabled QR code scanning).

You will be presented with the below screen showing the members details. Press ACTIVATE.

Then press OK.

You will be taken back to the EPOS screen. If you go to the Summary screen you will see there is now a tab open for the member with the items and their discounts applied.

For any future orders, while the tab is open there is no need to scan the QR code again, you can just add items straight to the members tab.
