You can add members to your loyalty scheme either on the EPOS or the back office. This article covers how to add members via the EPOS.
Before adding any members, decide how you are going to identify your members when they make purchases. If you will use QR codes that can be added to your members Apple or Google wallets you will need to enable member QR codes before adding your members.
On the 'Summary' tab press the 'MEMBER CARD' button.
If you are using QR codes to identify your members you won't need a physical card so press the 'No Card' button.
If you are using RFID cards to identify your members, tap a new card on your RFID reader.
You can then enter any details you would like to store for the member. You need at least a name and, if using QR codes, an email address where the QR code pass will be sent.
When you have added the details, press 'ACTIVATE' and you will see a message showing you the card has been activated.
If you have any groups or custom fields set up, these will slide out from the side of the screen, enabling you to set the fields and allocate the member to a group.
By default, a new tab will be opened for the member. This would mainly be used if you are using prepay member balances, if you are not using balances you can close this tab.
You now link any purchases made by the member to their account when they present their QR code pass or RFID card.
You may also want to link some promotions to your members, or specific groups of members.
