Using the bar orders screen

You can use the bar orders screen to receive drinks orders, either instead of or in addition to routing them to printers.

Your front of house staff can acknowledge orders to keep track of who is preparing them, then mark them as ready triggering a "Drinks ready" message to floor staff.
