Adding beer information from Untappd

When adding new beers to your menus you can quickly pull down descriptions, images and meta data including brewery, style, abv, country & IBU from beer website Untappd.

To do this, press the 'Get Beer info via Untappd' button underneath the description field when adding a new product.

You will be presented with a list of possible matches based on the name of the beer. Press 'Add Info' next to the correct match.

You'll see the description has been populated from Untappd (but can still be edited if needed).

If you go to the Advanced tab and scroll down to 'Beer & Wine Metadata' you'll see that the beer related fields have also been populated.

These will also show on mobile ordering menus & digital display menus.

Note, that once a product has the 'Brewery' field populated it will then display on the Beer Sales report.
