Creating a single-use postpay beer card

 To create a single-use beer card go to the summary screen on your BarTab EPOS iPad.

Press the New Tab button and you will be met with the below screen. (if you always create single-use cards this screen can be set to pop up whenever a new card is placed on the reader, skipping to the below step. Email [e-mail] to request for this to be set up).

Whilst on this screen, place a new card onto the associated card reader. You will see that the 'linked to card?' switch is turned on as shown below.

Add a name for the Tab. This could be the customers name, a table name, or just a number that you allocate to that card.

If the card is to be shared by a group, enter the number of people in the group in the covers field. This will determine the amount of beer that can be dispense before a consumption alert is triggered.

Press OPEN TAB and you will see a message informing you that a tab has been created.

Press OK and you will see the tab on the summary screen. You can hand the card to the customer and you will see a record of any beer they dispense on this screen. You can also take payment for any outstanding balance.
