Important information for customers migrating from Zettle Pro POS

To make migration across from Zettle Pro there are some things to be aware of as Tabology works in a different way to Zettle and all changes might not be immediately clear. 

Extracting Product Data

1. Navigate to the back-office - https://backoffice.intelligentpos.com/

2. Click on the 'Products' link and press the 'Export' button

3. Send the generated file to [e-mail] 

Xero

1. Feeds

Zettle feeds Xero every night at midnight automatically. 

Tabology works differently in that Xero postings are made when the end of day (Z-Report) is run which enables those that trade past midnight to have their business days on their EPOS and their cloud accounting aligned. 

2. Category Mappings

Tabology also give the option to define your own categories, which are by default Wet & Dry to post as sales as part of a sales invoice that is generated each night.

NB: Any mappings for new VAT categories need to be defined separately in Xero as well. Tabhub will not update VAT rates for mapped categories 

Connecting your Zettle Reader

For security before you can make payments with your Zettle reader, users must provide Tabology Support with the email address that they use to access their Zettle account.  

Once setup a test payment can be put through (Bluetooth must be enabled on the device running BarTab).
