To track your stock you will need to enter any orders you place with suppliers into TabHub.
TabHub will also help you with your ordering by suggesting the amount of each stock item you need to order.
It does this by looking at:
- your stock levels at the time of ordering
- what you sold since your last order
- the minimum you like to always have in stock for that product
To place a new order with a supplier, first select 'STOCK MANAGER' then 'ORDERS & DELIVERIES' from either the dashboard buttons or the side menu.
You will see a list of any orders and deliveries you have already entered into the system. To make a new order, press 'ADD AN ORDER'
Select the supplier you want to place an order with.
Any suppliers you have already set up will display in a dropdown list when you click on the supplier field. If you haven't yet set up your supplier you can do so pressing the 'Add a new supplier' button to the right of the field. For more details see Adding Suppliers.
Once you've selected a supplier you will see 2 buttons, 'Show all' and 'Show expected'.
'Show all' will show you all of the products you order from that supplier (see Product Stock Settings for how to allocate a supplier against each of your products).
'Suggest order' will show you a suggestion of what you need to order from that supplier, based on your current stock levels, sales in the last period, and the minimum stock you have set to always have on hand.
Suggested orders are a great way to speed up the ordering process and ensure you don't over or under order. However, it is important to check the orders and to adjust them if you are expecting a big uplift in trade.
When you are happy with your order press 'Save & Send Email' to send the order to the supplier. Or if you are placing the order over the phone just press 'Save order'.
After saving your order, you will see at the bottom right of the screen a green button labeled 'Mark as delivered'. When you take the delivery of the order you can press this button to update your stock levels.
You can also do this on the Orders & Deliveries overview screen.
