Getting Setup
To connect with Cloudbeds, simply logon to your back office (TabHub) and go to Setup > Integrations & Add Ons and search for Cloudbeds as below. Then click the "Connect with Cloudbeds" button and enter your Cloudbeds details for us to connect to your instance.
In-House Guests in BarTab
When a user checks in to Cloudbeds, they automatically become accessible in BarTab by going to the EPOS > MORE and clicking the CLOUDBEDS button
All rooms are listed alongside the checked in guests name to validate with the customer.
You can then click to Open Tab which will make the tab visible on the Summary page alongside all of the other BarTab tabs. Clicking the View Tab button will take you to the tab itself to start adding items to it.
Any items added to the tab will automatically be reflected in the Cloudbeds folio and can be printed on the Cloudbeds bill provided to the customer at check-out.
If the tab is closed by the bar it can be re-opened by navigating back to the EPOS > MORE > CLOUDBEDS screen and re-opening the tab.
NOTE: All items purchased will remain on the tab for the duration of the stay even if closed
Voiding Items
Should you choose to void any items on the Cloudbeds tab, it will automatically remove those items from the Folio. This can be done by clicking the item and selecting the void option on the pop-up as shown below
End of Day
When running the Z report at the end of the day any sales that have been made on Cloudbeds tabs will be displayed on the report as Sales carried forward.
Once the customer checks out, BarTab displays an adjustment on the end of day report for the amount of the payment due to be settled in Cloudbeds. This is for tracking purposes but will not impact any cash and card payments taken in BarTab for that day as a result.
